FINAL Final script
We had to put up our covid certificates up on the blog, to prove we have done the training. I have! I would know how to act on a professional set in terms of avoiding the spread of covid. We also had to think about how we would film during the pandemic. Like if we were only allowed to have 3 people in the room at the same time. Unfortunately the consequences of the pandemic were much worse than that, as we didn´t even have the opportunity to try to film. Uni just never opened after christmas... It makes me really sad to think we might never see this film finished... It wouldve also been great to be able to add a film like this to our portfolios.
Back to the actual work
Here is the final list of all the equipment we would have needed:
I felt like the story kept changing so it has been hard to keep up with everything. I am sure though that this is the final final script:

They changed the ending a bit. I think it´s kind of cool, but I would´ve also liked there to be the moment where it is revealed that the shadow inside is him. I don´t think we would have had to make it super obvious either. Maybe just show a dim profile standing inside after our character has left. I drew this as a suggestion with my storyboards. I actually added a couple of frames as suggestions, as you will see. Otherwise I really like our script and shot list I think we have a great film in the making.
To begin with I made a sketch of the set to have next to me while drawing. This helped me a lot to visualise where everything is. As you can see I also made notes, which helped me think.
I made it based on the sketches Victoria gave me:
At some point the wall was on the other side so I was worried I drew the whole storyboard with the set the wrong way, but if we go with the sketches Victoria, what I did was right.
FINAL STORYBOARD
As you can see I put quite a lot of work into this and I´m quite proud I finished it in time. It was a loooot of drawing. The only thing is I didn´t get to do is edit most of the photos so they´re not very clear, or aesthetically pleasing. I dont mind though as I feel like I´ve definitely already worked enough. I also feel like I get the point through. I also fixed a couple of mistakes in the shot list, so now it just makes more sense. I guess this serves as a sort of final check of the story. When you draw things you probably notice things you don´t if you just read it. It also really helped me visually all camera positions as well as lights.
I feel like it´s really sad we might not be able to actually film this. Maybe over summer. I would really love to see the finished product, as I feel like we put so much work into this, and I really love the story. I just feel so invested in it. I´m hoping enough of us stay for the 4 week extra period of open university, so we could do it then. It would probably only take a couple of days.
